Refund policy

Please note: This Refund Policy contains separate sections for United States customers and for customers in all other countries. Please refer to the section that applies to your location.

International Customers

  1. Customers may return eyewear within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Returned items must be in their original condition, unworn, undamaged, and accompanied by all original packaging materials, including cases, cleaning cloths, and any accessories.
  3.  A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  4. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at:  support@hyperlightoptics.com.
  5. Address for the return of purchased Products: ZEPTER INTERNATIONAL POLAND Sp. z o.o., ul. Krechowiecka 38, 05-230 Kobyłka, Poland.
  6. If the Customer, placing the Order, chose a method of delivery of the Product other than the cheapest usual delivery method offered by the Seller, the Seller is not obliged to reimburse the Customer for additional costs incurred by them.
  7. The direct costs of returning of the Product in connection with the exercise of the right to withdraw from the Sales Agreement shall be borne by the Customer, including the costs of return in the event that the Product, due to its nature, cannot be sent back by post in the usual way, i.e. when the cost of sending back is higher than a regular postal parcel.
  8. Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 15 business days after we receive and process the returned item.
  9. Customer is not entitled to withdraw from the Sales Agreement (as a distance Agreement) in the following cases: when the purchased Product is non-prefabricated but manufactured according to the Customer's specifications or the Product used to meet the Customer’s individualized needs (personalized  Products).

 

United States Customers

Customers may return eyewear within 14 days from the date of purchase.
Returned items must be:
  • unused and unworn
  • in original condition
  • free from damage
  • returned with all original packaging, including cases, cleaning cloths, and any accessories.
A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Return shipping costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

 

Non-returnable items

Returns are not accepted for:

  • personalized or customized products
  • items showing signs of wear or use
  • products returned without original packaging and accessories

 

Online Withdrawal Function (Right of Withdrawal)

Customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection regulations.

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the customer, or a third party indicated by the customer (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

Customers may exercise their right of withdrawal by submitting a request via the online withdrawal function available on our website.

The withdrawal function can be accessed via the footer section of the website.

Confirmation of withdrawal

Upon successful submission of a withdrawal request, the customer will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of the withdrawal, including a reference number.

Effects of withdrawal

If the customer withdraws from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from the customer, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about the withdrawal decision.

Reimbursement will be carried out using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
