Accessability Statement

Accessibility Statement for Hyperlight Optics®

Hyperlight Optics® is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.

Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Hyperlight Optics® is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to remediate these issues.

Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

  • CSS Background Images: Some collection images (e.g., Indoor, Outdoor, Hybrid Series) are currently implemented as CSS background images, which may not be accessible to screen readers. We are working on replacing these with standard HTML images.

  • CAPTCHA: The current CAPTCHA system on our contact page requires cognitive tests. We are migrating to a background-verification system (Friendly Captcha / Cloudflare Turnstile) to ensure seamless access for users with disabilities.

  • Interactive Target Sizes: Some interactive elements may not yet meet the minimum target size of 24x24 CSS pixels.
